What is the basic difference between a Vinyasa class and a Yin class?
In a Vinyasa class you can expect to move! You’ll be guided through a unique yoga sequence in every class, linking movement with breath. In a Yin class you will mostly be on the floor and guided into shapes which you might hold for anywhere between 2-5mins. Typically Yin is a relaxing and restorative practice. Whereas Vinyasa is the opposite, it is much more vigorous and you might even break into a slight sweat.
What is the most relaxing / de-stressing class type?
Definitely a Yin class or Yin + Meditation.
